EB-5

The U.S. EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program, also known as the "Employment-Based Fifth Preference Immigrant Visa," is managed by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The program was created to attract foreign investment to promote economic development in the United States. Established by the U.S. Congress in 1990, the program has undergone several revisions, including the introduction of the Regional Center Program, which further lowers the investment threshold. This makes it particularly attractive to investors who are unfamiliar with the U.S. business environment, as applicants aren't required to be directly responsible for creating jobs.
Currently, the EB-5 program is one of the fastest and least restrictive immigration pathways in the U.S. It allows foreign nationals to obtain a green card by investing in U.S. government-approved development projects. Additionally, applicants can include their spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21 on the same application for permanent residency.
