The Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) program is a long-term residency visa launched by the Malaysian government. It welcomes eligible foreigners and their family members to settle in Malaysia. Successful applicants receive a 5- to 15-year multiple-entry residency visa, which allows them to live, invest, buy property, and send children to school in Malaysia. This program is particularly suitable for retirees, professionals, and their families who wish to enjoy a high quality of life in Asia at relatively low cost. AIMS offers three tiers under MM2H: Silver, Gold, and Platinum, allowing applicants to choose based on their financial capacity and needs.
Program Advantages:
* Applicants aged 25+ can apply. They may bring their spouse, unmarried children aged 21–34, and their parents.
* No English language requirement
* The process is straightforward, and approval typically takes 3–6 months
* No business or high-level executive experience is needed
* For applicants under 50 years old, there is a 90-day-per-year residency requirement in Malaysia (this can be combined across family members); for those 50 or older, there is no minimum stay requirement
* Capital is very safe: you only need to deposit USD 150,000 in a fixed account, with minimal risk
* After one year, you may withdraw up to 50% of the fixed deposit, but only for specific purposes:
• Property purchase
• Medical expenses
• Education fees
