Those who apply for Category A under the "Top Talent Pass Scheme" can submit the salary tax assessment notice issued by the local competent authority (such as a tax office or tax department, etc.) for the previous tax year, the applicant's employing company issues documents proving the value of the stock options and documents proving the financial status of the company owned by the applicant (such as the most recent audited financial report, operating profit and loss statement or profits tax return, etc.) (if applicable).

If the applicant's income is not in Hong Kong dollars or one of the 17 foreign currencies mentioned above, when submitting the online application, he can first convert his income into Hong Kong dollars or one of the 17 foreign currencies, and then upload the relevant supporting documents for review by the Immigration Department.

The academic qualifications obtained by applicants from the "Top 100 Global Universities" must be equivalent to Hong Kong's recognized bachelor's degree standards. For the avoidance of doubt, honorary bachelor's degrees will not be accepted.

If the applicant has not been issued a graduation certificate, he or she may apply based on the other graduation documents proof issued by the relevant university/institution.

If the applicant fails to submit proof of graduation, the application will not be processed. Applicants should submit the relevant application after receiving the graduation certificate or graduation certification documents.

The relevant work experience must be full-time or self-employed work experience accumulated after graduation.

We will calculate based on the applicant's "graduation year". For example, those who graduated from the "Top 100 Global Universities" with a bachelor's degree in 2018 need to submit a Category C application on or before December 31, 2023.

The consolidated list is compiled by the Labor and Welfare Bureau based on the top 100 universities/institutions listed in the following four designated World University Rankings in the past five years :

* QS World University Rankings;

* U.S. News & World Report ranking of the world’s best universities; and

As long as the bachelor's degree qualification that the applicant relies on when submitting Category C application of the "Top Talent Pass Scheme" is awarded by the "Top 100 Global Universities" within the past five years, and the applicant is not eligible to apply "Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates to Stay/Return to Hong Kong", then he/she can submit a Category C application under the “Top Talent Pass Scheme".

For co-organized courses, as long as all the relevant awarding institutions/universities listed on the applicant's graduation certificate are among the "Top 100 Global Universities" and the applicant meets other application qualifications under the relevant categories of the "Top Talent Pass Scheme", the applicant can apply.
