New Zealand Active Investor Plus Visa Program

To further attract high-net-worth individuals and foster economic development, the New Zealand government optimized the Active Investor Plus Visa Program with reforms in April 2025. This introduced two new investment categories: the Growth Category (minimum investment of NZD $5 million over three years) and the Balanced Category (minimum investment of NZD $10 million over five years), replacing the previous high threshold of NZD $15 million. The new policy not only waives the English language requirement and significantly reduces residency obligations but also expands the types of investable assets, offering applicants greater flexibility and convenience.
