The Nauru Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Program (NECRCP) is the official route to obtain Nauru citizenship through a one-time financial contribution. Funds are allocated to national climate adaptation, coastal protection, and sustainable development.
• USD 105,000 for a single applicant
• USD 110,000 for a family of 2–4
• USD 115,000 for a family of 5 or more
Additional fees apply, including application fees, due diligence fees, and passport issuance fees. There are no residency or physical presence requirements, and the approval process typically takes 3–4 months.

Application Requirements

* Must pass medical checks and provide a clean criminal record

* Must complete due diligence checks and an interview

* Make a contribution to the National Treasury Fund:

- Main applicant: USD 105,000

- Family of four: USD 110,000

- Family of five or more: USD 115,000

- Sibling of the main applicant or spouse: USD 15,000

AIMS Service Process

1. Make an initial enquiry with AIMS to understand the program details
2. AIMS consultants conduct an immigration assessment
3. Sign the service agreement with AIMS and settle the service fee, while AIMS collects all required documents
4. Government and international due diligence checks commence
5. The main applicant attends an online interview; upon approval, the required contribution must be completed
6. After the main applicant takes the oath, the Certificate of Citizenship and Nauru passport will be issued

What’s different about this visa compared to the previous investment-immigration schemes?

The updated “Active Investor Plus” visa replaces the old weighted-investment system. It now offers two simpler categories — “Growth” and “Balanced” — with lower residence requirements and no English language test.

What is the minimum investment required?

It depends on which category you choose:

• • Growth category: minimum investment of NZD 5 million over 3 years.

• • Balanced category: minimum investment of NZD 10 million over 5 years.

How long do I need to stay in New Zealand?

• For Growth: stay at least 21 days within the 3-year investment period.

• For Balanced: stay at least 105 days within the 5-year period.

Is there any education requirement?
